Description David Goodenough 2004-03-10 10:11:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

If I open a menu using a key sequence and the mouse happens to be where the menu items
are shown on the screen, the one under the mouse is selected.

I reported this to the usability list on an earlier release, and someone said that this was
wrong and that the item should only be selected if the mouse moved. In the subsequent
release (if was a 3.1.x but I can not remember which) this was fixed. However in 3.2.1,
which I recently upgraded to after a period of not upgrading, this behaviour has reverted.

While this and 58719 look very similar, they are actually exact opposites. But no doubt the
solution to one will give an opportunity to fix both.
