Description M G Berberich 2004-03-09 11:37:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

The mails that are sent by korganizer for scheduling a group-event is not understood by outlook (at least XP).

Until know I'm not understanding the problem fully, but at least the content-type of the mails is wrong. It is "text/plain" making outlook to simply display the content, but probably should be "text/calendar; method=REQUEST".

This probelm only shows up if "Mail Client' is set to "sendmail".
Obviously the sendmail-method is broken.

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

Someone with outlook should help to test this with the current KDE4.

Yep, please reopen if you still experience this bug with Outlook and KDE 4.1.
