Version:           3.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-192-athlon

I've just noticed that after changing the front document (in iDEAL mode), the window title changes to show the name of the file being edited - but then the window title begins to grow every half second or so, like this:

kink - file:/path/to/kink.cpp - KDevelop
kink - |k|ink - file:/ (etc)
kink - |k|ink - |k|ink - |f|ile:/ (etc)

and so on.  I've been using this build of kdevelop all morning, and it hasn't crashed yet, but it's very odd.

I assume this is another dupe of bug #73672. Doesn't the rest of your KDevelop look odd at all?

The window title corruption I am experiencing is the same as the screenshot of #73672, whereas the rest of KDevelop is perfectly usable.  Note I'm using 3.0.1 whereas the original reporter is using 3.0.0.  My kdesdk RPM is SuSE 3.2.0-8.

Anyway I deleted the widgetStyle=Check line from my kdeveloprc and the problem went away, but if I view a .ui file, restart kdevelop, the widgetStyle line returns, and so does the titlebar corruption.  I think this is the same #73672 - I don't have time to try fresh CVS atm, so please close as a dupe if you agree.

I'd say it's a dupe. Something in KUIViewer was clobbering the config option 
for the style. Konqueror experienced a similar problem.  The fix has been in 
KDE_3_2_BRANCH for quite awhile, so when SuSE comes out with the new 3.2.1 
RPMs, you can update. :)
