arrow up/down should not switch to other fields of the news-editorb ut stay in the edit-field.

I can't see what's wrong with this, IMHO that's a convenient feature.
KMail does the same BTW.

IMHO not, but YMMV.
i think it's more convenient to have the usual TAB-behaviour. scrolling ending up in the groups-field may be bemusing. at least it should be configurable.
