Description Anno V. Heimburg 2004-03-04 14:17:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5, propolice-3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-gentoo-r7

In KWrite's regexp editor, you can edit intervalls, e.g. From "a" to "z". In the German translation, this is translated as "Von ... An ..." instead of "Von ... Bis..."

Unfortunately I am unable to fix this at the moment. I can't find the
corresponding entries in the translation files. This needs further
investigation where the strings are taken from. This has probably
to be done by a developer of kwrite.

Comment 3 Anno V. Heimburg 2004-04-06 13:19:44 UTC
Okay. Will you guys take it up to the developer? Should I?
Comment 4 Anno V. Heimburg 2004-04-09 18:41:04 UTC
I took it to the developers - bug #79332
Comment 5 Anno V. Heimburg 2004-04-20 16:09:28 UTC
Okay, developers fixed the strings. I expect that due to I18N-Stringfreeze, this will not be corrected until KDE 3.3?
Comment 6 Stefan Winter 2004-04-23 13:19:40 UTC
Actually, I double-checked with the other translation teams and chances are good that it will be fixed in the BRANCH, i.e. for KDE 3.2.3.
Comment 7 Anno V. Heimburg 2004-04-23 13:46:19 UTC
Great! Good work!

Thank you for your bug report.
The bug that you reported has been identified and has been fixed in the
latest development (CVS) version of KDE. The bug report will be closed.

The related source patch was done by the developers so we could
fix the translation now.

Fixed in KDE_3_2_BRANCH translation.
