Description Ralf Holzer 2004-03-03 17:35:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

When using Kghostview as the embedded viewer in Konqueror, the zoom buttons are disabled
if you open a document in a new window by pressing the middle mouse button. The document
opens fine, but it is not possible to zoom in and out via the menubar buttons. After hitting
reload, the buttons are enabled.

This is with cvs HEAD from 03/01/04.

I have experienced similar problems in KDE 3.2.

In Fedora Core 1, when you open a document in a new tab the zoom buttons are disabled and also the movement among pages (next, previous, first and last page's buttons). If you hit reload button then it works well.

Anyway, when I middle click from Konkeror in a PDF file, a new windows is NOT opened, but instead the selected file is opend in kghostview (not in konqueror's kpart). Moreover, if I left-click the file in konqueror's window and select in the pop-menu to open the file ain a new konqueror's window, the problem doesn't appear.

Regards,
     Edulix.

When I open a tab with a gesture, the zoom is disabled. If opened in the same tab it works.

Does this happen with Okular?
