Description Sarah Pearson 2000-08-06 10:29:09 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: cvs snapshot 8/5

Using kde2 + kmail (1.1.63) all from cvs (timed 22:30 05/08/200).

I have 1 incoming mail account setup with a check for mail every 1 minute.

It is named "Kde" and is a local mailbox (I have procmail filter mail into
seperate folders in /home/sarah/Mail).

Whenever I start kmail and leave it for a minute after start up a copy
of every single message that already existed in the folder appears as a new
unread message. If I click on any of these messages the subject changes to
"No Subject" and the message headers and body are blank. If I click on any
other message in that folder (whether a new message or an old one) it changes
to "No Subject" too.

If I exit kmail and check the size of the kde mailbox file it is 0 bytes.

Procmail and KMail are incompatible.

KMail has it's own fitlers Settings->Filter rules you must use those
(unless you feel like writing a patch to make KMai land Procmail compatible
but that's a lot of work).

Closing bug.
