your arts install is broken. And as artsd is crashing i'll reassign this to arts I have the same problem - it fails on my Dell computer (Optiplex GX270) at work, while on my homemade PC all works OK, even that I use two sound cards (built in + PCI SB Audigy). I try to keep both machines with more or less the same config, both runinng latest Slackware (10.2) linux with latest kernel - currently 2.6.15, and distibution packages KDE 3.5. |
