Version:           2.4.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.3
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.3

Whenever I start noatun, I get a Crash Handler window telling artsd crashed with a SIGSEGV. noatun will then (silently) refuse to play any files. The same thing happens over and over again if I close/restart noatun several times.

your arts install is broken. And as artsd is crashing i'll reassign this to arts

I have the same problem - it fails on my Dell computer (Optiplex GX270) at work, while on my homemade PC all works OK, even that I use two sound cards (built in + PCI SB Audigy). If you need more details - please contact me at: mzalfres at wp dot pl. I'll be happy to help.

I try to keep both machines with more or less the same config, both runinng latest Slackware (10.2) linux with latest kernel - currently 2.6.15, and distibution packages KDE 3.5.
