Still broken in KDE 3.2.2 Bug 87901 also suggests showing the border of images that are not loaded. Is this only a problem when "load images" have been disabled? Yes, this is only a problem when "autoload images" has been disabled. I just noticed that this is a wishlist item, but it really isn't - it's a bug. Did someone change it to wishlist, or did I mistakenly give it wishlist status? Showing alt text when images are absent is part of the w3c standards, I think. It's an accessibility issue. I can't do page accessibility testing with konqueror without this feature. I really want this feature because i disabled images so i load site faster, but i cannot see the alt text. For example open www.linux.org with elinks(a text mode browser) : you will see the alt and it is easy to browse the site, but in konqueror i have to guess :{(
