Description Toby Dickenson 2004-02-22 10:45:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

In 3.2.0, the print preview shows checkboxes for choosing which of the previewed pages should be printed. This is an *excellent* feature, but the purpose and usage of these checkboxes isnt obvious.

I think a better tooltip would help. Currently the tooltip just says "2" for page 2. I suggest this is changed to "Only print page 2".

The print preview is based on the kghostview part. Note also that even if you can select pages in the preview, this is not taken into account when printing.
