Description Paul Hoepfner-Homme 2004-02-17 21:43:04 UTC
Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-gentoo-r5

Whenever I view an XML document in Konqueror, it uses khtml to render it (that was the default association for XML documents when I installed KDE). But khtml doesn't seem to recognize it as XML, or maybe it does, but it just displays a huge jumble of text. It seems to ignore many of the tags and just spit out the text in between tags. But other tags it just outputs verbatim, like <div> and <br> (which happen to be tags in an XML document I'm viewing). I'll include a screenshot of khtml's rendering of the XML document http://feedster.com/blog/rss.xml to explain what I mean.

It would be nice of khtml rendered XML documents the way Internet Explorer does in Windows. Or if not, at least make the rendering legible from an XML-structure point of view.
