Version:           v0.8.3 (using KDE 3.2.0, Onebase)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.3
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.1

Many times  when downloading, kget simply hangs up but it does not crash. Then I have to kill all its processes inorder to restart it. 

I noticed this does occurs irregularly but repitative.

At least for me, it's a copy of bug 74597.

¿Some tip about when patches will be applied and why they weren't applied for KDE 3.2.1?

Cannot reproduce this with 0.8.5.
