Version:           unknown (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from:    Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-0.13mdk

Noatun starts when KDE is loaded and begins playing.  No UI is displayed.  You can still play files if you open them with noatun.  You cannot however, see Noatun at all

You're sure it's not in the systemtray?
Please append your noatunrc to find out which plugins get loaded by Noatun. You can find it under ~/.kde/share/config/kopeterc
