Description Kevin Winahradsky 2004-02-08 15:54:15 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r3, propolice)
OS: Linux

XF86AudioLowerVolume
XF86AudioRaiseVolume
XF86AudioMute

The default action for these is to launch kmix and then raise/lower/mute the volume. This works fine, but any attempts to reassign these 3 keys in "Keyboard Shortcuts" or using KHotKeys does not work. The changes are ignored and the default action is always executed.

In KControl, go to KDE components->Services manager (or whatever it's called exactly) and turn off the KMilo module.
