Description Michael Nottebrock 2004-02-07 15:00:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports

This is a regression from KDE 3.1.4. Especially people on FreeBSD usually want to set HltCmd different than the default, which is shutdown -r now, to something that powers off the computer (shutdown -p now) or puts it into suspend mode (acpiconf -s 3), and they are used to do it in GUI.

I agree. I thought KConfigXT was supposed to make it easier to have decent dialogs with Advanced.. options, so completely hiding stuff users have learned to depend on is pretty bad IMHO.

fixed in HEAD.
