The KMail configuration window opens with vertical size more than 800 pixels (it does not fit inside my 1200x800 desktop), moreover while the window is scaleable horizontally, it refuses to scale vertically. Seems the problem is related only to this window, today I was configuring KDE desktop and many KDE applications and did not see anything similar anywhere else.

I use KDE 3.2 installed via apt from kde.org. It may matter that I use polish locale (pl), plastik theme and custom font (MS Trebuchet).

fix for this bug

This patch fixes this bug. The problem was caused by the usage of quotes (i.e.
'"') in the translation. The translated text is embedded in a quoted string (<a
href="whatthis:%1">). Therefore the quotes in the translated text were
misinterpreted and lead to the strange results. The patch simply replaces all
occurrences of \" with &quot;.

Hmm, this bug is simultaneously patched, UNCONFIRMED and resolved as duplicate of #64126. Maybe someone could clean up this bugzilla mess a bit?
