Version:           0.7.6 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 [FreeBSD] 20031106

A new automatic spellcheck function highlights incorrectly spelt words in the editor; the user can right click to see list of possible replacements. However, selecting one of the replacements does not cause the word to be replaced.

I'm closing your report. In current version KNode, the replacement is done correctly.
