It would be nice for KMplayer to have support for mplayers dvb (digital TV) support, these digital (dvb-t) TV cards are becomming increasingly common in europe and will eventually replace analouge TV and can be picked up for around £75. Kmplayer could show a list of channels (from ~/.mplayer/channels.conf) and support dvb tv and dvb (not dab) radio.

Version 0.8.4 will at least support VDR viewing, which is a pretty cool mm framework IMHO.
Anyway, since I have such a card, I'll look into having mplayer's dvb support. But that probably will not be ready soon. If you, or any other that might read this, have any usage tips, please send them.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kmplayer

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.
