Sorry to close this bug but we cannot really do anything about this in Kopete itself, it has to be fixed/changed in either KDE or QT. I know I've seen arrow QPopupMenus some time ago so they're definetely there, I just don't know why this is not an option. I fully agree with you that the current multicolumn approach is a bad idea (actually I think it shouldn't be used at all, it just looks unnatural compared to normal popupmenus). Maybe we should all vote for the bug you linked here :) It shouldn't be a submenu in the first place, it should be a Format -> Font... entry that opens a font selector dialog instead. I agree with Stefan. It is not a Kopete bug (even if I am the author ;) Now that I know that KAction is used, I think this bu is a KDE one. So the "bug" #54716 must be fixed first. Hmm, I didn't realize you were using KFontAction. That would make it a kdelibs bug instead. Reassigning. Martijn If a certain amount of fonts is reached it could change to a KFontDialog. Is this still relevant to recent KDE version? If not please close the bug. Thanks, Lex. Please retry with a KF6 version, thanks! |
