Version: 1.5.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.1dell-optiplex

I have a rather large amount of email in one thread currently and management proves to be a bit annoying.
If I close the top level [+] all collapse to 1 line, but when a new email comes in all are visible again even while the email is on one branch of the tree.
I can solve that by clicking all [+] signs, but MacOS7 had a feature that was rather cool.
You could alt-click on the top level node's [+] and all nodes would be closed. So simply opening it would only show the first level.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
