Version:           3.0.0b2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

If I have an edited file that needs it's permissions changing so I can save it, the act of changing the permissions using the file selector in KDevelop causes the "unsaved changes" icon to disappear from the tab.

The file is not saved unless I manually save it.

I think this has been fixed in HEAD. KDevelop will however change the icon to "externally modified" instead of "unsaved".

If anyone can repeat the reported behaviour on HEAD, please reopen.
