Description Nathaniel Taylor 2004-01-05 02:35:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

Right click on a file gives a menu including "move to" or "copy to" options (from kdeaddons).
The submenus of these options never include parent directories.

Parent directories should be included, as it would make many operations much easier.

A typical sitaution where this would be helpful is when the current directory is far from ~ or / , and the destination directory is closely above the current directory.

So, in a revised version:
click on `move to' or `copy to'
initial menu is Home,Root,Current,Browse as now
then, all further menus include `..' if appropriate.

This would be a huge improvement for much that I use konqueror for. Thanks for these menus which are a really useful idea. I shall submit a wish about a less obvious further enhancement.
