Description Wray Hammer 2004-01-02 07:38:26 UTC
Version: 1,2,1 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: used Mandrake 9.1 install disks and all security, bug, and normal updates 1 January 2004

I logged in to KDE as user, opened Konsole, su'ed to root, later used command 'su wray' to return to my user login. When I tried to close Konsole with command 'exit', I was returned to the root account--if I had walked away and someone mean came by, he could become root with exit command. Tried exit again and it returned me to user (wray) account. Now I know 'exit' exits the account if you su'ed, and exits Konsole only if no su performed.

User errors cannot be fixed in program source code.
