In the kivio handbook,
To make a group select the stencils and select 
<menuchoice><guimenu>Edit</guimenu><guimenuitem>Group Selected 
Stencils</guimenuitem></menuchoice>.
should be replaced by
To make a group select the stencils and select 
<menuchoice><guimenu>Format</guimenu><guimenuitem>Group Selected 
Stencils</guimenuitem></menuchoice>.
