Version:           1.3 Beta (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.23-rc2-xfs

When I go into Settings -> History to disable the history, and then proceed to save as defaults, on the next startup, the history is re-enabled. Changing other settings such as the font or schema however, are still remembered.
