Installed from:    SuSE
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-144-athlon

I'm unable to log onto MSN in Kopete. The login name and password are correct, and I copy-pasted each from kwrite just to make sure that I wasn't making some random typo in the password. When I try to connect, the butter fly icon flashes twice, and then goes grey again, with no error messages. I'm using Kopete 0.7.3. All other messaging services in Kopete work.

Uptate to Kopete 0.7.4
As workaround you can move an MSN contact to another group before go online to forc e kopete to download the contactlist.

I can't even fetch my MSN contact list to do that.

nevermind. duh. thanks. that work-around worked. will this be fixed in the next version?

This is fixed in Kopete 0.7.4
