Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)

create a todo entry with subtodos. press the publish button. Only the todo entry (without subtodos) is published. There is no way to select todo and subtodos to publish.

Still there in 3.2.2 (Packages from Debian sid/i386)
