Description Ted Hansen 2003-12-19 05:29:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

there should be a 'Ktrash' routine which can be configured to intercept ALL calls to delete (from non KDE apps also) & route them to trash rather than replying on the user to use the 'move to trash' command instead of delete. Also 'trash' should keep track of where the file came from so it can be restored if necessary even if the user doesn't know where it came from. I'm entering this as a new wish even though it is similar to 58958. 58958 is marked 'resolved' even though it is still an outstanding unresolved wish.

Bug #58958 is marked duplicate. I am marking this one duplicate too: one wishlist item suffices.

In case you're wondering, this hasn't been implemented because no one wants to. We're accepting patches if anyone wants to contribute.
