Version:           3.1 (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.22

Select "Settings -> Configure Fonts -> Ok" and a popup "Malformed URL" appears. Programs doesn't crash, you can just close the popup by clicking ok. Not very informative, though.

I have the same bug using KDE 3.2.1 using Debian unstable packages. My compiler is gcc 3.3.3, Debian version 200403306.

Still there in SVN r628k, but the error has changed to "Could not start process Unable to create io slave. klauncher said unknown protocol ''."

Still there in trunk r837737, although the error is back to "malformed url"

This only happens with the special pages khelpcenter produces itself, namely:
- overview pages (like the table of contents)
- search results
- glossary entries
Since the HTML for these pages is created on-the-fly by khelpcenter and injected in the HTML view, asking the view to reload the current URL will not work properly, and thus the error pages.

Sadly the interaction with the KHTMLPart settings is not exactly clean...
