Description Florian Evers 2003-12-14 21:03:26 UTC
Version: 2.3.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.94)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I am using noatun with winskin plugin. When I move around noatun's window on the desktop, it does not "snap in" when approaching other windows or the border of the desktop. It looks kind of untidy, because the window is "hanging around" mostly with 1-2 pixels displacement. Very hard to adjust properly.

Im am running SuSE Linux 8.2, with noatun from a rpm.

florian@powerstation:~> noatun --version
Qt: 3.2.3
KDE: 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2)
Noatun: 2.3.3

As a workaround use Alt + Left Mousebutton to adjust its position, that will also use the snap-in function.

This could be fixed by telling kwin to do the moving instead of the application itself (same idea as in kjofol which is part of make-it-snow branch).

noatun has not been part of the KDE 4 release and is no longer maintained.

KDE now offers Dragon as a video player and JuK as a music player. Additionally, other popular KDE players have been ported to KDE 4, such as Amarok or Kaffeine.

If this issue is still applicable to KDE 4 applications, please add a comment or file a new report.
