Version:            (using KDE Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc 3.3.2 compiled using --enable-debug=full
OS:          Linux

If a new project is created of type 'C++ -> Simple Hello World Program' then it will not build:  automake falls over.  Copying acinclude.m4 and aclocal.m4 from another KDE program into the directory solves the problem; perhaps modifications need to be made to the project wizard scripts to this end.

What is your distribuition ?

Followed the steps but the "Simple Hello World" application builds & run just fine ;-)
(Gentoo Linux here)
