This message is displayed when attempting to access a Samba share on another computer running Linux from a Konqueror window. The problem only occurs when the Samba share is not "public". The share is accessible using smbclient.

At this point is Konquerer attempting to request user or password information?
User ID and password are the same on both client and server Linux computers.
