I've seen this happen, but this is not a Konsole bug (or it doesn't seem to be for me). Just 'exec bash' and the new bash will see the settings correctly. I've only seen this happen on restarted sessions, however. To me it happen also on new sessions. And, of course, I don't now what a restarted session is. Mandrake? Same as report 53418? Yes, I read the description of 53418 and saw its pictures, I think it's the same. I also read comments, so I'll wait for you to mark this as invalid.
