Well, it won't appear on the screen at all.. I have recompiled arts, kdemultimedia/arts and noatun again without success..

I cannot reproduce this, try making sure artsd works by going to the sound configuration in kde control center (there's a test button as well).

Well, not having this problem anymore. Closing..
