Version:           2.3.3 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031028), Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r2, propolice)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-test9

To reproduce:

Load the Simple plugin.  Move noatun to the upper right corner of the
screen.  Click the button for the volume control.  Actual behavior:
slider is only partially visible, as the top is off-screen.  Expected
behavior: volume control is displayed downward if it won't fit
upward on the screen.

Fixed in CVS, will appear in KDE 3.2 and KDE 3.1.5 in case another 3.1 release appears.
