Description Pablo Díaz Gutiérrez 2003-11-07 03:53:26 UTC
Version:           3.0.0a7 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from:     (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20030908 (Debian prerelease)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-xfs

I've been looking through all the menus, buttons and shortcuts, but I can't find the way to add an existing source file into a project. The manual doesn't help either, as it seems to be focused on the 2.0 version. This is a major usability concern, and a big barrier for new users to start testing Gideon.

Take a look at:

Regarding the user manual we do have a KDevelop 3.0.0 Beta 1 user Manual.
To access it we should do:
Help -> KDevelop Handbook

There is also a Programmer's manual at:
http://developer.kde.org/documentation/library/cvs-api/kdevelop/html/index.html

You should update to KDevelop 3.0.0b1 from CVS because we closed 75 reported issues since the release of the A7 version you're using!
