Version:           3.1.93 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031028), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-2mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-18mdk

How to reproduce:
 - go to a page witha a html form 
 - use tab to make the focus go to a button 
 - press Return

The button will be activated but it will not animate as it does when pressing Space.

Fixed using Konqueror 3.5.7 and using Konqueror 4.00.68

an HTML form with a button "Send"

With tab go to the "Send" button and hit the Enter key: the button works as
expected, it works as if you hit the Space key, making the bug resolved.

No, the bug is about the Return key not animating the button, and it still does not here.

Does this still apply to Konqueror 4.8.4 or later?

19 years and all i ever got was "we don't care about your bug, please confirm if it's still broken".

Anyhow I don't use konqueror for the web anymore and the button style is so flat that nothing animates anymore so you can't see the missing animation.

There's no an "I Don't care" button so I'm using "Unmaintained" feel to change it as you see fit.
