Try installing mpeglib and mpeglib_artsplug from kdemultimedia. Btw, Noatun doesn't load files, it's just a frontend to artsd and if something doesn't play it's most certainly an artsd problem. Subject: Re: noatun doesn't play ogg files mpeglib and mpeglib_artsplug have been allways installed: /opt/kde-3.2/lib/libarts_mpeglib-0.3.0.so.0.0.3 /opt/kde-3.2/lib/libarts_splay.so.0.0.0 Are these the correct and needed libs? These are the libs, which are found in kdemultimedia/mpeglib_artsplug/.libs after compiling. Is there something missing? To which binary should they be linked to? Or is there a config-file, which tells arts about the existence of these libraries? Can't reproduce in KDE 3.2.2 |
