Hello,

when klaptopdaemon is started from the control center it consumes 0-1% CPU ressources which looks quite normal to me.
But then i hide the dock icon and make it re-appear via control center. Immediately my computer becomes slow and unresponsive.
"top" show these unusual results:

When i kill "kded" then klaptopdaemon quits and CPU usage recovers to the normal state immediately.

I can reproduce this problem since a few weeks.

I can confirm this problem, although I'm not able to clearly reproduce it. Mostly closing a random window seems to trigger it here.

This problem occures here since the kwin3 merge, not sure if this really caused it, but this is at least the timeframe where it started.

I'm also quite sure, that it wasn't caused by a change in klaptopdaemon itself, since there weren't any changes in the code in this timeframe (which of course doesn't mean that the bug isn't in the klaptopdaemon code).

Wait for next Qt, use qt-copy, or get the patch from bug #64671.

Note - the fix to this bug is actually in QT - you should update to the latest qt-copy to get the fix
