Description Philipp Lehman 2003-10-23 22:47:21 UTC
Version: 3.1.1 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

KOrganizer has a view filter feature which allows you to show/hide events and to do items matching certain criteria. When activing a filter, however, you don't get any information about busy times related to hidden events.

Suppose you add a filter that displays all events related to the category "project x" and hides everthing else to unclutter the week view. If you then want to add an event related to "project x", you need to disable the filter first to see all busy times.

It would be very handy if KOrganizer could highlight the background for busy times in the day/week views like it highlights work hours even if the actual events are masked by a filter.
