Sentry Crash Report:

Description Carl Hudkins 2003-10-22 02:13:25 UTC
Version: v0.8.3 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r2

Sorry to report a site-specific problem, but downloads do seem to work from Mozilla, and Konqueror handles it ok if I disable Kget integration. Since member logins and cookies are required, I have been unable to try with wget or links2. This site seems to run on a home-brewed system using PHP, so I wouldn't be surprised if something is weird with it.

To reproduce, search for some video with a LOCAL download link, go to the video's info page, and hit the "LOCAL" link at the bottom. A page comes up with an auto-starting download, plus a link to use if that fails. When I use either one of these, Konq prompts me for a save location and then Kget reports that "(TheFileName.avi)" is a malformed URL. The URL that leads to this is something like "http://nago.animemusicvideos.org/downloadlocal.php?v=8848"; the result of this is either a file, a message such as "You are trying to download this too soon after your last attempt", or a redirect to a page like member login.

I'm not sure how to capture more information; I've looked in Xfree.log and xsession-errors but I see nothing likely.

Hopefully a developer is already a member of AMV.org, because otherwise either a donation or a two-week waiting period is required for downloads from the site itself. :-p

I think it's the same as #63985. But cannot test, 404 Not Found.
