KRun needs to take ASN id. Does this behaviour still exists currently? I tried to test the testcase .desktop file but it seems to be invalid now (missing Type field), so I can't test. Thanks The .desktop file mentioned here seems really to be only a fragment of what I used. Use the following: [Desktop Entry] Version=0.9.4 Encoding=UTF-8 Exec=kfmclient exec file:///tmp Name=test Type=Application I'm still on KDE-3.5.10 and when I try it with that, I can still see the problem. When I run KDE4-dolphin from within my KDE-3.5 session, I also see this behaviour. When I run dolphin from a KDE4-4.2.2 (openSuse 11.0) session, the problem can also be seen, with the difference that the startup notification is not shown in the taskbar but the cursor shows the bouncing icon until the timeout. So in brief: there is still a bug. still a problem in 4.8.0, openSuse 12.1 Hi, kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years. KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have resolved this bug. If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue. We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
