1. The image on the first page is flipped vertically.
2. Instead of the text only a few bogus characters are shown.

xpdf 2.01 shows the image correctly and doesn't show any text at all.
kghostview HEAD has no problems with this PDF file.

On the terminal, you get to see a lot of output like this:

The file renders correctly with kpdf from CVS HEAD as of 26 August 2004

This will come with kde 3.4 or 4.0 wathever comes next
