Description Bob Tanner 2003-10-12 22:31:21 UTC
Version: 3.1.4 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-2.96-113
OS: Linux

Sorry, session-enable URL, so you'll have to walk the urls to get to the problem

- Click J2SE downloads
- Click J2SE 1.4.2
- Scroll down to "Download J2SE v1.4.2_01"
- Look for the Linux self-extracting file row
- Click "DOWNLOAD" under the SDK column
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, click ACCEPT
- Click "Download j2sdk-1_4_2_01-linux-i586.bin"
- Get "Malformed URL j2sdk-1_4_2_01-linux-i586.bin"

This might be related to Bug #14848. If so, can someone explain how to get the diff out of CVS so I can patch konq.

Actually, this appers to be a bug with KGet, or at least it's integration with
konqueror. If you turn off KGet's "Integrate with konqueror" option, konqueror
downloads the file as it should.

FYI, no problems using kget in KDE 3.2cvs.
Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2003-10-21 16:20:04 UTC
Any chance of seeing a fix for the KDE 3.1 branch?
Comment 4 Rex Dieter 2004-03-05 17:55:06 UTC
fixed in kde-3.2
