the title suggests something else than the body of the report. :) i think separating it from shutdown makes more sense. as such, this would be a kicker and kdesktop request. otoh, it _is_ a sort of shutdown, which should require root authentication if configured so. dunno whether it makes sense to integrate that with kdm or simply do it via kdesu. see bug #33839 for a different variation of the same request. |
