Version: 3.1.1 (using KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB-athlon The clock applet in the taskbar (I hope I'm not wrong assuming it is KClockApplet) is very nice -- much nicer than, e.g., Windows' time-and-date dialog. KOrganizer runs as a separate application, but what _really_ would be nice is to have KOrganizer tightly integrated into the KClockApplet. I explain why: I have noticed myself using the clockapplet regularly when I, say, set up appointments with collegues, friends, for work, etc. I felt uncomfortable, however, when I had to open KOrganizer separately to check whether I have an appointment already set on a specific day. Sometimes I wished to have occupied days marked red (or whatever color). Sometimes I tried to right-click on a day in the clockapplet and expected to have a context-menu popping up, letting me to set an appointment or add a note. Maybe an itegration into the clockapplet would be nice in such a manner: When KOrganizer is inactive (e.g. not launched) the applet behaves as normal, when KOrganizer is active, however, additional features are available like occupied days are marked colored, right-click pops up a context menu and lets you add/modify KOrganizer items. I don't know in how far this all is possible. It would definitely be _really_ nice for the user ("all dates under control" with a click on the clock). Maybe this note should also go to the KClockApplet developers.
