Description A T Somers 2003-10-02 10:52:11 UTC
Version: 1.6b1 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

It would be extremely cool if Kile were to offer an interface to install (La)Tex packages from within Kile. It should enable you to seach the list of available packages for the one(s) you need, and be able to download and install them. It would also be cool if Kile could detect missing packages for a document, and offer to download and install these. A good place to start would be the packages catalogue offered on ftp://cam.ctan.org/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/catalogue.html where an XML file with a catalogue of packages, there discription and download locations can be found.

You said it, that would be super-cool! Maybe something for version 1.7. Thanks
for the link.
