In the Contents tab, we can search files of any mimetype available in kde. 

Aditionally, it would be useful to add the ability to search for images (all types), videos, sounds, Documents(Office like documents), text files, etc.
Various uses for this: 
-one can't remember which format a certain file we are searching was in
-we want to search all files of a certain media
