Description mika 2003-09-23 23:15:02 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

When using multiple IMAP accounts with interval mail checking KMail stops displaying new messages. The counter (for INBOX) increases for every new message but none are shown.

Fixes include restart as well as editing accounts so that KMail refreshes the folder lists (or something) from servers. After this new messages a shown for a while until the same thing happens. Reproducible.

Avoidable by using interval mail checking only on one account and manually selecting INBOX on other accounts.

Clicking the "Check Mail"-button does check mail on all open accounts and then kills the new mail checking completely. Twiddling with account settings to some degree.

IMAP-servers in question are WU-IMAP 2001c and GroupWise 6.

I am using Mandrake 9.1 RPMS with KDE 3.1.0 and KMail 1.5. I don't get any errors on console if I start kmail from command line.

I'm pretty sure that this is fixed in the next version (kde 3.2)
