Subject: Re: New: Display eye-piece/ccd size on the skymap Hi, You'll be happy to know this is already in 3.2. You can define a "FOV symbol" (FOV=field-of-view) with a specified angular size. The angular size is not actually printed on the map, but I think you are just asking for the ability to draw the FOV itself. (hmm, but printing the angular size of the symbol on the map might be interesting too...) You can either specify an angular size directly, or enter parameters of your telescope/eyepiece/CCD to determine the FOV. You can also choose from a variety of symbol shapes, and set the color for each symbol. Is this feature already in the first alpha version of KDE3.2? I am asking
this, because after I downloaded and compiled KStars from the ftp site, I
couldn't find options to set this up.
